Travelers favorite and recommended Restaurants in Amsterdam
Duck is one of the most famous animals in Holland. They know how to cook it in so many different ways. In Vlaming we taste the best duck in Amsterdam in my opinion. This is a local restaurant with local food and traditions, don’t miss it. It’s not expensive. In fact, you get an excellent food and experience for the money you pay. Nice atmosphere and well located, you should make a nice walk after the meal through the canal.
Good sandwiches and authentic dutch food. Cakes are a specialty, so should leave some room for some dessert. Great eggs and vegetables, they grow them for themselves. Friendly service although it was very crowded, as we went on a saturday night in July, and you could see it was very high season in Amsterdam. But we enjoyed a lot. Great dutch food at good price.
Fancy and excellent restaurant. Views to the canal, white stylish decoration and amazing gastronomic experience. I mostly go to traditional places to eat, but I like when I find really good modern cuisine restaurants like this one. They experiment with products and cooking styles, mixures and textures. I experimented eating unforgettable dishes and enjoying good company.
Teppanyaki Restaurant Sazanka:
Not the cheapest restaurant in Amsterdam, but worths a visit if you can afford it. Japanese gastronomy, high quality products, superb service and nice decoration. I always prefer to sit in front of the chef as it’s spectacular to see how he works. It’s like if a superior intelligence is managing the human movements.
They a have a good wine selection, feel free to ask the sommelier. They always recommend great wines. Food is tasty, ask for enough food, you don’t want to miss anything.
