We spent 5 hours there. This museum is one of the most important museums in the world, and is large, very large. Important pre-20th century painting and sculpture. Museums show beauty and history, I love the Louvre because is a whole beauty experience, the buildin, the art works and the light. Consider a feet massage at the hotel after.
Notre Dame Cathedral
One of the most important gothic cathedrals in the world. This one is unique for it’s architecture and emplacement. A visit can be enjoyed quickly without spending much time. After that we had time enough to walk for an hour and a half, exploring the streets around and eating at some local restaurant.
I don’t think I can say anything new about it. Is just an incredible construction, marvelous and magnificient. Consider a night visit and enjoy all lighting and maybe a different prespective.
Modern art next to the Louvre. Amazing painting collections, impressionism is the most representative. Architecture of the building is quite impressive. I love this Museum, is fantastic. A good thing about it is that you don’t need too much time to enjoy it and see most of the important art collections.
The Sorbonne and the Latin Quarter
Latin Quarter is a beautiful neighborhood in Paris, and there you can find one of the most impressive attractions of the city: Sorbonne University. This is a very old university, full of history and interesting spots. I always prefer walking when traveling, so I guess this area is perfect for do exactly that and discover new places.
Arc de Triomphe and the Champs-Elysées
History of Paris is very interesting. Many great personalities have lead this country in the past, and most of them left a footprint and a trace. Arc de Tromphe is a stunning building you must see, and Champs-Elysees is a beautiful green and flowered area in the city where you’ll feel amazed by beauty.
