Charming small hotel ideal for couples and romantic trips.
Located in the heart of the Low Emporda. Sant Feliu de Boada is a charming small rural village with stone houses and quiet streets. 4 restaurants in few meters is a big signal on how pretty and interesting is this place.
Sant Feliu Hotel is a rural hotel with 6 double rooms, very familiar and comfortable. The entrance and facade is in the center of the village, at the church sqaure. There’s a special atmosphere and beauty, specially when the restaurants open and you can see tables, chairs and people enjoying. There’s a stone with the year when the house was done: XVI th century.
As you enter, you see special decoration they change depending the season of the year, and that provides always a different look to the hotel. Reception at your left, a wood desk and an original ring bell. At your right you’ll see the breakfast dinning room, the bar and the living room with sofas, TV and a beautiful piano. A nice arch made with stone presides the space.
Cute and charming, familiar and friendly, small and quiet, peaceful and romantic.
Maria, the owner, is very sympathetic and nice. She manages the hotel with a close treat and sensibility. Welcomes every guest and helps with anything you may need. She and her family live in the house next to the hotel and they’re always ready to help. That’s something remarkable, you can feel how familiar they are, something really important for me. They take care of you.
Facilities and Services:
Free wifi in the whole hotel, bar, outdoor tables in summer, living room with sofas and a piano.
Breakfast is included. One of the best I’ve seen.
Maria prepares everything personally. Fresh orange juice jar, bread, cold sausages, homemade jam (incredibly tasty and delicious), water, fruit, coffee, tea, sodas and all you may need for a strong day starting.
6 double rooms, all of them different. Respecting the old house structure, all rooms have full bathroom and unique decoration. Antique furniture is visible everywhere. Very comfortable beds with soft, beautiful bed clothes and pillows. All rooms have big a big window or small balcony so they’re bright.
The house was restored by Maria’s husband (Jesus) and their son. That’s they work, restoring old farmhouses, so they knew exactly how to transform the old house into the hotel they always dreamed.
Great bathroom with stone bathtub or shower, depending the room. Amenities like soaps and lotions, flowers and pretty furniture.
Medieval villages like Peratallada, Palau-Sator, Pals, Begur and Monells are very close (15 minutes driving max.) and I encourage everyone to visit them. Torroella de Montgrí, L’Estartit, La Bisbal d’Emporda, Palafrugell, Calella de Palafrugell and Llafranc are very interesting and close too.
If you stay at the hotel more than a weekend, must see recommended places would be Barcelona, Girona, Figueres, Cadaques, Olot, Camprodon, the Pyrenees (La Vall de Nuria, for example), Barcelona and many others you can ask to Maria and the rest of the staff. They will be glad to help you.
