Back in the early 90s, I got the chance to stay here twice, and it was fantastic! The first time I camped in a rented tent under the palm trees on the beach, and the second time I stayed in one of their bare-bones cabins. With the Carribean only 20 meters away, I was more than willing to share the bathrooms and eat at their open-air restaurant. Not high-end accomodations, but the prices were incredibly cheap! (though I don´t know what they are now…) Super laid-back, and great for the low-budget traveler (or singles!). Negril is a small town with a 7-mile long beach and no hotels taller than the palm trees. While there are a few all-inclusive hotels there, most are normal beach hotels. Carribean paradise!
