I love Chinatown. As much as I love New York, paella or road trips. I didn’t appreciate the beauty of this borough until summer 2011, when I was staying at the Mulberry Hotel in front of the Columbus Park. Was very hot those days and humidity didn’t help, but I really enjoyed walking through Chinatown streets, looking all the people working, shopping or just walking around.
You can find shops and stores of all kind, including the ones in the street wich gives a lot of life. If you are around, should stop by to eat at Joe’s Shangai Restaurant and try some soup dumplings, best ones in the city.
You can spend one or two days in the area, so you can go south and see Wall Street and the Brookling Bridge or go north and, crossing a street, realize that you’re in Little Ittaly.
