Rural apartments with style in the heart of The Pyrenees, Torla and Ordesa National Park.
Cozy apartments for couples, groups of friends and families in a peaceful spot between Pyrenees mountains. Started as rural accomodation at 2010. The family who owns the apartments live next to them and take care of every need you may have. They are very nice and friendly and there’s no question you won’t forget the whole experience at Casa Bergua, the beautiful Ordesa National Park and The Pyrenees.
The family has a farm where they grow cows, goats, pigs, chickens, rabbits and sheep. They proudly show the animals and explain interesting things about them and their activities. You can see the cows grazing at the beautiful fields from the apartment. Enrique, the owner, and his brother Alberto, showed us incredible paths, rivers, waterfalls, valleys and villages around.
Casa Bergua Apartments are located in Víu de Linás, very close to Torla, one of the most important villages in the Pyrenees for its unique beauty, restaurants and closeness to Ordesa National Park.
Entering Víu, there’s just one street that will guide you to the farm and apartments at the end of it. Víu is very small and quiet, which is perfect for deep relax after spending hours visiting the area. You’ll have splendid views to Soaso valley and their stunning nature.
Peace and nature surrounding the apartments. Relaxed atmosphere and warm, confortable and full equiped apartments. We felt like home, being able to cook, watch TV from the sofa and cleaning our clothes. The area offers a wide variety of activities and nice places to visit, so you’ll probably spend a week or more at Casa Bergua. That’s why I consider so important to be hosted in an apartment with all the things you need to do your normal life.
The farm makes the place much more special, specially for families with kids, that will absolutely love it and spend hours with the animals. Bergua family will show and explain anything you and your kids need to know about their activities. They love what they do and trasmitted that feeling to all guests.
There are two independent apartments, one for 4-5 people and another one for 6 people. We stayed in the first one, which is ideal for couples in romantic trips. The bigger one is very similar, decoration, views, distribution and equipment is pretty much the same, but there’s an extra bedroom and bath upstairs.
Decoration is modern but respects the rural environment. Wood furniture, parquet flooring, beautiful old black and white photos, and many lights distributed for a confortable and warm feeling. Feeling like home.
Fully equipped open kitchen with fridge, oven, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. Everything we needed for stay at the apartment and reduce our spending on restaurants. Ideal for those who want to spend more than a weekend exploring and enjoying Huesca Pyrenees.
Free wifi and good plasma TV. The sofa (also bed if needed) is big and very confy. They have a nice porch and barbacue area for all guests, as well as a small charming room with fireplace and table for colder days.
They have a 4×4 service that is perfect to explore the area and Ordesa National Park safely and with somebody that give interesting information as you advance. Alberto works there and invited us to go with them in a morning visit to some of the most spectacular viewpoints over the park. A beautiful experience where you will know some other travelers too, which is always interesting.
A walk in Torla is always nice. There are many good restaurants and shops. Is a small village but pretty crowded due to tourism, so you will always find some ambience but relax and peace at the same time. This is the last important village before the main entrance to the Ordesa National Park. In a 5 minute drive you can reach some beautiful villages like Broto (with more services, shops and restaurants), Fragen and Linás de Broto.
Roads in the Pyrenees are beautiful, we love driving as a travel experience itself. You can explore for hours to the west or east and find many other interesting and must see places like Aínsa, Boltaña (east), Biescas, Sabiñánigo, Sallent de Gállego or Jaca (west).
Bujaruelo Valley is one of the most beautiful spots you can see. We went in November, so there were just a few tourists, but Enrique and Alberto explained to us that that area is always much less crowded and visited, so is clearly one of those place where you can go and get lost (in a positive way).
Autumn is the perfect time of the year for a visit. Red, green, orange, yellow, brown, white… Many colors, many feelings and so much beauty.
